Accessibility

Lesley provides access to journal content from a multitude of different database vendors and publishing companies. Accessibility statements here reflect the standards for the website or platform for each publisher, not necessarily individual pieces of content, such as back issues of journal articles. These are the major publishers that users will encounter searching through library content; for questions about other journals, email Alexis Dhembe, Electronic Resources Access Librarian.

• Elsevier follows Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Guidelines for their website. Additionally, Elsevier states that "All Elsevier electronic products (Web, PDA, eBook, etc.) will be audited for accessibility within a reasonable period. While each business unit must determine an appropriate period, we suggest that all major products be audited within a 3-year period."

• SAGE Publications does not list specific conformance or compliance, but provides specific guidance for users depending on their needs, including information on keyboard navigation and podcast transcripts.

• Springer follows WCAG 2.0 Guidelines and follows WebAIM's Principles of Accessible Design in website development.

• Taylor & Francis follows WCAG 2.0 Guidelines and provides information on navigation on their Accessibility Statement. Additionally, Taylor & Francis strives to provide journal content in both HTML and accessible PDF formats where possible.

• Wiley conforms to WCAG 2.0 Guidelines and Section 508 and provides information about browser support.
