ARTstor Image Folders & Groups
How to create an ARTstor folder:
- Login to ARTstor: username, (faculty email address) and password, (the default password is; artstor )
- Click on Share from the drop down menu, select Create Folder
- Name the folder after your class so that your students can find it easily. I also recommend adding your last name to the folder title to accommodate multiple course sections. You will be asked a series of questions. I recommend making the folder public at this institution and not allowing anyone else write access (people with write access can alter your image groups).
You’ve created a folder for your course. Now you have to fill it with image groups.
- Login into ARTstor
- Search or Advance Search for images you’d like to put into an image group.
- Select images by clicking on the thumbnail (a red box will appear around the image)
- Click Organize from the drop down menu, select: Save selected images to; New image group.
- You’ll be asked to select a folder. Pick the one you just created, title the image group, and save.
