Formatting Citations

Choose your writing style for an overview, tutorials, handouts, and answers to frequently asked questions:

Librarians are happy to answer questions about formatting a particular source for citation, but we do not proofread bibliographies or lists of citations for accuracy. Please reach out to the Center for Academic Achievement for individual citation support!

Citation Management Tools

Citation management tools are readily available on the web and are not a Lesley supported resource. We will try our best to answer isolated questions, but the university does not offer trainings or consultations for these programs. Please use the links in this guide to assist with any troubleshooting

Citation management tools are tools used by many scholars to keep track of, organize, and cite the resources they find during the research process. Lesley has guides on two citation management tools; EndNote and Zotero, but there are many different citation management tools available, and we recommend using whichever method or tool you like the most.

EndNote - Get started with the EndNote Guide

Zotero - Get started with the Zotero Guide
