Borrow & Request

Course Materials

You can search all library resources using @LL Search! Looking for a specific article? See how here! This is also the best way to search for assigned course readings in articles and eBooks!

If you are looking for something the library does not have, you can request that we purchase it! Note: We typically cannot purchase textbooks.

Also, you can request books and articles through Interlibrary Loan! Note: Only print books can be lent through interlibrary loan.

Material Pickup Options

To request items in our collection to be put on hold for you to pickup at either Sherrill Library or Moriarty Library, go to our Library Catalog, search for the item needed, and place a "hold request" in the item record.

We can also check if the item can be purchased digitally, even if we already own it in print! To request an electronic version of an item we already have in print, please fill out this form.

For questions regarding pickup or placing requests, please email libcirc@lesley.edu, Same-day requests will be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

Due Dates & Book Returns

Library materials can be returned in the book drops outside of Sherrill Hall, Moriarty Library, and UHALL 3rd Floor. The library does not charge overdue fines for Lesley materials. However, please either renew or return your materials by their due dates.

Long overdue and lost materials are subject to replacement costs; however, we will work with you to replace a lost item with the cheapest available option. If you want to keep an item for longer, or have misplaced an item, please email us.
