Course Reserves FAQ

How do I check out reserve items? 

  • Check out reserve items at the Information Desk
  • You can borrow reserve items for a limited time (2-hour, 3-hour, 24-hour, and 1-week periods, depending on the item).
    • 2-hour Reserves cannot leave the library.
  • Overdue reserve items are subject to fines.

How do I place items on reserve? 

  • Instructors may place books and media on reserve for a specific course or for the permanent reserves collection using the Add Items to Reserves form.
