Borrow & Request

Library Borrowing During COVID-19

Sherrill and Moriarty Library are closed as part of the Lesley University COVID-19 response. During this time, our print collections are unavailable. If you have books checked out through Lesley, no worries! We have extended due dates and will not be charging any fines for this time period. If you have books checked out through another institution, please email us so we can communicate with the lending library.

You can search our electronic resources, available remotely 24/7, using @LL Search! Looking for a specific article? See how here! This is also the best way to search for assigned course readings in articles and eBooks, no need to search a separate course reserve list!

You can still place InterLibrary Loan requests for articles and book chapters! See our ILL page for information.

If you would like to know if a title is available as an eBook through the library, or have other questions about accessing Library material, please Ask Us!

Other Libraries

Your Local Public Library: If you are looking for full print books, we recommend checking to see if your local public library is offering curbside pickup. Not sure where your nearest library is? Check WorldCat!

Boston Public Library: During the pandemic, Boston Public Library is allowing all Massachusetts college students who are not presently living in the state to register for an eCard.  The BPL has an extensive list of online resources which include scholarly databases, popular magazines, children’s and young adult resources, online videos, and more.
