Homeschooling: A Resource for Parents and Teachers

Due to the spread of Covid-19, the state of Massachusetts is recommending that all schools, public and private, be closed through the end of the school year.

The members of the Lesley University community are teachers, therapists, students, parents, employees  - all in some part affected by the school closures.

This guide is not created with any official state guidelines in mind, however, it was created to have a place for resources that might be helpful to have gathered in one place, and organized by subject.

Please refer to the university's policy concerning Covid-19 here.

Sugata Mitra: The child-driven education

Education scientist Sugata Mitra tackles one of the greatest problems of education -- the best teachers and schools don't exist where they're needed most. In a series of real-life experiments from New Delhi to South Africa to Italy, he gave kids self-supervised access to the web and saw results that could revolutionize how we think about teaching.
