Enter a keyword or keywords that describe your topic. In @LL Search, it is often best to start with a simple search.

Review the search page and apply limiters as necessary. Your search likely provided a variety of formats, including books, newspapers, journal articles, and video. To limit to books only (i.e. both print books and e-books), apply the format limiter for "books" in the lefthand column:

Review the search results page for relevant items. The results page includes basic information on an item like title, publication date, format, and location.

When you find a relevant book, click on "Show full record" and look at the Subjects to find additional search terms. Click on a subject to see related books.

Use this online library catalog to search for items in Lesley's library as well as the following libraries: Emerson, Emmanuel, MassArt, Wheelock, Museum of Fine Arts, Mass College of Pharmacy, New England Conservatory of Music, and Wentworth Institute of Technology.

To limit your searching to items in the Sherrill Library, use the "Lesley-Sherrill Library" filter. If what you're looking for is located in another FLO library, use the "Make a Request" function to have that book sent to campus.

If you require a book that is not within Lesley's or FLO's collection, try requesting through InterLibrary Loan. Make sure you look through Lesley's full ILL policy beforehand.

ebrary Database offers electronic copies of over 40,000 academic and general interest books in a wide range of subject areas. You can create your own Bookshelf so you can bookmark books and pages, highlight passages and take notes, and copy passages to your paper.

To find ebooks in @LL Search, type the title or keywords for the book into the search bar.

In the search results, under the "Limit to Library Location" menu in the left column, select "Lesley E-book/Streaming".
