Accessing Library Resources: Logging In

Logging In

Almost all of the Lesley Library's databases, e-journals, e-books, and other electronic resources can be accessed remotely through a service called EZproxy, using your Lesley account. Lesley accounts are given to current Lesley students, faculty, and staff. To log in to EZproxy, you'll be presented with a login page that looks like the one below. Opting to remain signed in will make your session last longer and reduce the amount of times you'll be asked to log in.

Having Trouble?

If you receive an error message that looks like the one below, or another error from Microsoft, please contact IT. For other access issues, Ask Us!

Accessing Resources

For remote access, the URL for each resource you are trying to visit must have the Library's EZproxy prefix, which starts Without this prefix, you won't be authorized as a Lesley user. If you have a link to a resource that doesn't have an EZproxy prefix, the easiest way to see if you can access this item is by searching for the title in @LL Search, which ensures that all of your results go through EZproxy.

Advanced Search

Some providers also allow you to make optional personal accounts to save search results and other information. If you see a different login page, you may be getting prompted to create or log in to a personal account; these are generally optional and not required to access Library resources.

If you have questions about your account, such as how to find your username or reset your password, contact IT!
