I Need Help Logging In

Many Lesley University Library resources can be accessed from off campus, but you need a Lesley ID. It's the same username and password you use to access MyLesley and your Lesley email.

Accessing the Library's homepage through Blackboard does not mean you have logged in. You will need to login again either within a resource or before accessing it, since our website's URL is public. It depends on what you are trying to access.

When you are prompted to login, the screen will look like this:

Network IDs are given to current Lesley students, faculty, and staff. Forgot your login information? Ask IT!

If you try to access an article that asks you for a username and password other than your Lesley ID (or that asks you to pay for an article), you might be visiting a publisher's website without first going through the Lesley University Libraries. If you have a specific article you wish to access in full-text, visit the guide to finding a specific article.

If you are using @LL Search, you will also need to login from the search results if you haven't already logged in. There will be a box across the top of the screen that says "Click here for Full Access". Log in by clicking there.

Some library databases offer free personal accounts in order to save search strategies, articles, or books. These accounts require a unique login and password but are separate from your Lesley ID.

Still having trouble?

Try clearing your cache. Your browser may be storing content from previous sessions, interfering with your ability to log in. Try clearing your cache and restarting your browser to start fresh.

Try using a different browser. Sometimes different browsers are incompatible with different databases for technical reasons. Switching browsers can help alleviate this issue.

Turn off your pop-up blocker. Sometimes the login page appears as a pop-up. If you have a pop-up blocker activated on your browser or computer, it will prevent the page from showing, thus preventing you from logging in properly.
