Test Collection Guide

Starting Your Search

The @LL Search on the library's homepage allows you to search the catalog and all the library's databases in one place--this is a great place to start looking for articles and research, including peer-reviewed research and reviews.

From here, you may want to limit your search to particular databases--PsycINFO, ERIC, and the Mental Measurements Yearbook are particularly useful for research on assessments.

Limiting Your Search

If your starting search gives you too many results, try limiting your search to subject-specific databases.

Look for the Refine Results column on the left-hand side of the search results screen. Select "Limit to Database" and choose PsycINFO, ERIC, Academic Search Premier, or Mental Measurements Yearbook (to explore literature related to tests).

This is also where you can check "Peer-Reviewed" to filter the results for scholarly literature.
