Statistics and data are terms that are often used interchangeably. Statistics are the collection and interpretation of data. There are many online resources available to find different types of statistics.

• Find resources for U.S. Government Statistics and Data at USA.GOV
• Find applications of U.S. Open Data at OpenData.gov
• Find global and internationally comparable statistics on education, science, culture and communication at the UNESCO Institute for Statistics
• The National Center for Education Statistics is a good source for statistics in the field of Education.
• Find data visualizations dealing with social and economic issues that influence public policy at The Urban Institute
• Find a wide range of statistics and reports from The Pew Research Center, a non-partisan "fact tank" dealing with demographics, U.S. politics and policy, and global attitudes.

3. Place "statistics or data" in the second box.
