I Live More Than 30 Miles Away And Need Library Materials

DISTANCE FACULTY & STAFF

Electronic Document Delivery: Through our Interlibrary Loan, Library staff will scan & upload a requested chapter from our books or a requested article from our bound periodicals to your ILLiad account, usually within 3 business days.

If you do not work on the Lesley University campuses in Cambridge, please do not request entire books (or other physical items) unless you are able to pick them up and return them to Sherrill or Moriarty Library; if that is the case, please be sure to leave a note in the request form to avoid cancellation. If you would like an entire book sent to you, your best bet is to request it through the InterLibrary Loan service at the library that you will pick up and return the book at.

STUDENTS

All students are eligible for an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) account in ILLiad. For students who live more than 30 miles away from Lesley, ILLiad works similarly to a document delivery service where you can have articles and chapters sent to you electronically. First time users will need to register.

  • For distance students (important for students in a low-residency program not currently in residency), staff will scan & upload a requested chapter from our print books to your ILLiad account, usually within 3 business days.
  • You are able to request articles and other electronic resources not in our collection.

If you are a distance student, please do not request entire books (or other physical items) unless you are able to pick them up and return them to Sherrill or Moriarty Library; if that is the case, please be sure to leave a note in the request form to avoid cancellation. If you would like an entire book sent to you, your best bet is to request it through the InterLibrary Loan service at the library that you will pick up and return the book at.
